I love the fall season! The air smells crisp and clean. The leaves are such beautiful colors and magically falling from the trees! Here, in New England, Mother Nature seems to be a bit confused. We've been having temperatures in the high 80's. I have no choice, but to embrace the strange September weather.
I think most people will start with their outfit and then move onto the accessories and shoes. Today, I started with the accessories first! I tend to do that a lot because of EarthWhorls.
The rings pictured are just to die for! Stacking rings is so on trend right now. But, all I'm seeing in stores and online are just a bit too plain for me. When I saw these, "Cat's Eye" rings I can't even put into words the excitement I felt! Not only can I wear them stacked, I can also wear one on each finger without the worry of ring sizes. BONUS!!!!!
So, onto a little arm candy! I wanted to find a piece that could tie in with my fabulous and wonderful rings. Alas, I found this flexible, wrap style Citrine and Abalone bracelet. Again, no need for sizing (I have abnormally small wrists). This bracelet is a one size fits all. Again, BONUS!! This bracelet is gorgeous. I mean GORGEOUS!! When the light hits the stones, it is mesmerizing! Almost like a light shimmer. So incredible.
Ok , my accessories are all set. Now I need the perfect outfit. As I get ready for work I always watch the news. The weatherman said, today would be a hot one. Oh boy.. What can I wear that will accentuate my jewelry? Then I remembered my favorite dress from Zara. A perfect match!!!!! I chose not to wear a necklace because the neckline is high on this dress and I didn't want the necklace to get lost so to speak.
I mentioned in my previous blog post that I love to layer my necklaces and bracelets, but as you can see with this particular dress, the pattern is a little busy. That's why I went with layering with the Cat's Eye rings. Subtle, but effective and I can switch them up during the day!
