EarthWhorls & The Gift of Turquoise

by Susan A. Katz December 06, 2016

Today I woke to snow flakes falling and finally, a true belief that winter has arrived and with it, the joy and excitement, beauty and wonder, of the holiday season.

We all have different reasons for, and different ways of, celebrating the holidays.  But one thing is for certain, we are all hoping to feel the warmth of friendship and the comfort of love.  We are all hoping to be connected to one another and to the awesome beauty of the world around us.

I feel the connection to nature every time I pick up a stone.  I feel it every time I gaze at that stone and am awestruck by the journey it has taken to end up in my hand or on my work bench.  One of the stones that ultimately bring me the greatest sense of energy and spirituality is turquoise.  For one thing, it is almost always found in dry and barren regions of the earth, a touch of light in the darkness.  For another, it is perhaps, one of the oldest stones in the history of man and has served as a talisman for kings, shamans and, warriors.

Turquoise is believed to be a protective stone, strong and opaque, yet comforting to the touch, almost offering a feel of velvet beneath the fingers.  It is as though a piece of heaven, azure colored and brilliantly shining had slipped to earth.

Turquoise is also believed, by many, to be a stone of good luck, especially when given as a gift.  And so, in that thought, I found the perfect reason for EarthWhorls to present a fabulous discount on all turquoise jewelry for this holiday season.  One week only - 35% off all turquoise earrings, bracelets and necklaces with code HEAVENSSTONE

I cannot gift each and every one of you with a beautiful turquoise stone but, I can make it possible for you to gift yourself or, someone very special, with the energy and unparalleled splendor of the amazing gift from nature we call, Turquoise!

Thought for the day…  Wearing jewelry is like wearing a smile!
